03 - Metal Stitching Technology - Level 3 Advance (MST-L3)

Who should attend:
Certified Professional (MST) or Certified Engineer (MST).

Introduction
This is a Level 3 advanced training course.

In this course, you will acquire the following knowledge as follows:
- Learn about our methodology, process, products, application, and support to build your Metal Stitching Technology knowledge for all materials
- Learn how to perform non-standard repair, e.g failed cast iron welding crack repairs, processed harden crack repair, structural crack repair, material fatigue crack repair, high temperature and high-pressure crack repair.
- Learn how to perform repair on nickel-aluminum-bronze, nickel-resist steel, AISI 4130, 254SMO, 310S, 904L, 2205, AISI 446, 422, 415-F6NM, Alloy A286, 254SMO, 310S, 904L, 17-4PH, Nitronic 50/60, SA234 WP5, WP9, WP11, WP22, WP91, etc.
- Learn and understand the use of Positive Material Identification (XRF, OES & LIBS) to check for material composition.
- Learn to interpret and evaluate results, investigate, perform root-cause failure analysis and generate incoming inspection reports.
- Learn and understand the use of portable laser alignment & measurement and CMM system.
- Learn and understand the use of Finite Element Analysis
- Learn how to generate repair procedures with technical calculations.
- Learn how to determine in deploying hybrid repair methods.
- How to exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of trainees and MST Level 1 and Level 2 personnel.

This is also a pre-requisite course to help the participant to prepare for the Metal Stitching Technology Certified Expert or Metal Stitching Technology Certified Specialist exam.

Application Method : 32 hours
Total Duration : 80 hours

Upon completion of the course:
- The participant will be issued a certificate of completion (Metal Stitching Technology – Level 3 Advance)
- The participant will have access to our member portal for the purchase of our MST complete range of repair products.
- The participant will be able to apply for the MST Certified Expert (MST-CEXP) or MST Certified Specialist (MST-CSPE) exam.
